T. M. Benson

The first Junior Deacon, came from West Point, Va., a member of No. 238 of the same name; was a clerk in the Old Dominion Steamship Company office, later forming a partnership with Bro. Edwin Phillips in the wood and coal business. About 1903 he left here and resided in Staunton for several years, but came back and was quite active until his death.
