M. T. Hughes

From Hampton and was one of the leading lawyers of this section, being at one time Commonwealth's Attorney of Elizabeth City County. About 1890 he returned to Hampton and lived there until his death. He also was a member of St. Tammany Lodge No.5 of Hampton, Va.
